The Cayman Islands have a tropical climate with warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine throughout the year. The average high temperatures range from the upper 80s to low 90s Fahrenheit (30-32 degrees Celsius), while lows generally stay in the mid to upper 70s Fahrenheit (24-26 degrees Celsius). The islands experience two seasons: a dry season from December to April and a wet season from May to November. During the wet season, there is more rainfall, occasional thunderstorms, and hurricanes. The hurricane season typically runs from June to November, with the highest risk of storms from August to October. However, the Cayman Islands are located outside the main hurricane belt and are less likely to be affected by severe storms than some other Caribbean islands. Visitors to the islands should be aware of the weather patterns and monitor weather reports, especially during hurricane season. Overall, the Cayman Islands offer warm and sunny weather year-round, making them a popular destination for beach-goers, divers, and water sports enthusiasts.
