Bonaire has a tropical climate with warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine throughout the year. The average high temperatures range from the upper 80s to low 90s Fahrenheit (30-32 degrees Celsius), while lows generally stay in the mid to upper 70s Fahrenheit (24-26 degrees Celsius). The island experiences two seasons: a dry season from January to September and a wet season from October to December. During the wet season, there is more rainfall, but it typically does not last long and does not affect tourism activities. Bonaire is located outside of the hurricane belt, and therefore, is not at high risk for hurricanes or severe storms. The island can experience strong winds, particularly from December to March. Overall, Bonaire's weather is perfect for outdoor activities such as diving, snorkeling, and hiking, with pleasant temperatures and low humidity year-round.
