Belize has a tropical climate with warm temperatures and varying levels of rainfall throughout the year. The average high temperatures range from the upper 80s to low 90s Fahrenheit (30-32 degrees Celsius), while lows generally stay in the mid to upper 70s Fahrenheit (24-26 degrees Celsius). The country experiences two seasons: a dry season from November to May and a wet season from June to October. During the wet season, there is more rainfall, occasional thunderstorms, and hurricanes. The hurricane season typically runs from June to November, with the highest risk of storms from August to October. Belize is located in the main hurricane belt and can be at risk for severe storms, including hurricanes. Visitors to Belize should be aware of the weather patterns and monitor weather reports, especially during hurricane season. However, the country's diverse topography and proximity to the coast can result in microclimates, with some areas experiencing more rainfall than others. Overall, Belize offers warm and humid weather throughout the year, making it a popular destination for beach-goers, divers, and eco-tourists.
