Belize has a tropical climate with warm temperatures and varying levels of rainfall throughout the year. The hurricane season typically runs from June to November, with the highest risk of storms from August to October. Belize is located in the main hurricane belt and can be at risk for severe storms, including hurricanes. Visitors to Belize should be aware of the weather patterns and monitor weather reports, especially during hurricane season. However, the country's diverse topography and proximity to the coast can result in microclimates, with some areas experiencing more rainfall than others.
